Eduard is an experienced M&A lawyer with a focus on corporate (mid-market) M&A transactions (both private equity and strategic M&A) and financial services M&A. He has vast business experience, having been a general counsel for 7 years, and knows best to strike a balance between the legal aspects of a matter and commercial interests of his clients.

Eduard has experience in various industry sectors including tech, mobility, automotive, funeral business, financial services and insurance. His expertise ranges from strategic deals to private equity, public M&A and distressed M&A.

Eduard was educated at Erasmus University Rotterdam, VU Law Academy (cum laude) and Grotius Academy. Eduard started his legal career as lawyer at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek in 2004.

Eduard is registered in the following principal legal practice area in the register of the Dutch Bar: Corporate Law.

Eduard is married and father of 2 sons. He very much enjoys sports (running, cycling, skiing and golf) and watching football with his family.
