With great enthusiasm, Anne advises her clients on financial regulatory law related matters and assists her clients in structuring their contemplated business and funding models within the boundaries set by the Dutch Financial Supervision Act (Wet op het financieel toezicht).
Anne regularly advises on financial regulatory matters and assists on license applications or registrations necessary to access the Dutch financial markets. Also Anne lead policymakers, shareholders with a qualified interest and UBOs through the regulatory hoops of integrity and suitability screening and obtaining required declarations of no objection. Anne has a special focus on alternative funding structures, Digital Finance, FinTech and platform driven business models.
Before joining FG Lawyers in 2015, Anne worked at NautaDutilh (2006-2012) and Eversheds Sutherland (2012-2015).
Anne received her Master's degree in both Private Law and Criminal Law from Leiden University in 2005, her LL.M. degree from Columbia University (New York) in 2006 and completed the specialization course in Dutch securities laws at the Grotius (cum laude) in 2010.
Anne is registered in the following principal legal practice area in the Netherlands Bar’s register: Financial Law. Anne is a member of the Association for Financial Law (Vereniging voor Financieel Recht). Other extracurricular activities of Anne include: fellowship International Center for Financial law and Governance (Erasmus School of Law), the editorial board of the Financial Legal Series of (Financieel Juridische Reeks) of Uitgeverij Paris.
Anne is married and mother of 3 kids. She loves spending outdoor time with her family and can be found on the hockey field and yoga mat regularly. Anne further enjoys skiing, golf, great food and wines
