Tokenisation and the regulatory regime; what is the deal exactly?
One of our FinTech Partners, Anne Hakvoort, wrote an academic paper (available in Dutch only) for Tijdschrift Financieel Recht in de Praktijk on her understanding of the concept of tokenisation. She describes the applicablity of the Dutch Financial Supervision Act, the Dutch AML Act and the Dutch Sanctions Act on the virtual asset services providers.
