FG Lawyers expands with the arrival of Eduard Fasseur
We are delighted to announce that Eduard Fasseur joins FG Lawyers as a Partner today, 1 November 2022. He brings with him a strong track record in not only M&A and corporate law but also as general counsel.

Eduard has many years experience with mergers and acquisitions, public offers and joint ventures. He is also a specialist in the field of corporate law questions, strategic contracts, distribution models, compliance and risk management. Because of his extensive business experience, he knows better than anyone the balance between the legal interests of a company on the one hand and its commercial interests on the other.
Eduard was an in-house M&A lawyer at Pon Holdings B.V. from May 2012 to July 2015 and also legally responsible for Pon Bike Group (i.e.. Gazelle and Cervelo). From July 2015 to June 2022 he was general counsel at Pon Automotive, the importer for the Dutch market of vehicles manufactured by Volkswagen AG ands and which also has retail activities in the Netherlands, Germany, the United States and Vietnam. In addition he was involved in advising various mobility start-ups and scale-ups within Pon. Between 2019 and 2022, he was also responsible for privacy and compliance matters at Pon Automotive. Finally, he was a member of the Pon Corporate Compliance Committee, responsible for the global compliance framework of the Pon group. Eduard worked as a lawyer at De Brauw between 2004 and 2012.
